Maharashtra Express :))

Soooooo ;))) i am finally bk in Bangalore :)))))) after a hectic 20 days of travel :)))

all i wannna say is - end of the day, when i luk bk at this journey so far, it is a remarkable experience.... and def worth every min of it..

this was a new region for me.. so i was also learning.. and i am glad to say that i kno HIS hand was upon this plan and things went on as planned..

I met some amazing ppl, built new relationships, few candidates made me cry... was such a humbling experience to know the lives ppl are leading.. and would like to Thank GOD for te various blessings in my life....

POst Pune, Thane was very hectic... but was glad to meet up with Yammu and Lionel.. ate some good food in Marakeshh :) mumbai was GREAT ).. love in Amci mumbai.. was soo muc fun meeting up with Mum's friends and Shalll...

bought lot of stuff.... ate some good food.. spent some quality time and carried along som v good memories of ppl.. and dis is wr i broke my back too.... phew! still hurts....

der were many times, when i've argued with priya and Nawaz regarding work... a lot of aimless silly arguements... but eod, thanks to both for their immemse suuport.. Priya alwayz ensured to call me before every event... share mailers.. ensured to appreciate when required.... and this is wat i would wanna expect eesp when away from home...

n honestly, jst those pepped up talks kept me going!!... Bhollahh n induuu tooo were like my agony aunts,... Gosh,... ow muc i trouble ppl!! :((

Thank you Lord for such ppl in my life :))

yet to come in terms for te fact that Deepa is engaged.. hehhe LOL... poor gal... se was not ready for it.. hope things will all fall in place, as dreamt of!!

this indeed has been one of te most fruitful events of my work career.. n i am eagerly looking fwd for a "letter".. fingers crossed :))

a few outstanding statements and incidents -

- good afternoon friends and respected Judge!! phew..
- welcome MRS Suhasini and MRS Preetam
- was offered dry and tender coconuts onj stage
- had to garland one 'golden' statue of some founder of some college...
and sooooooooo many more funnny liners by students.. dont wannna write it dwn here.. but they are all soooo hilarious....


felt soo nice to get bk home... mum n dad missed me liek crazzyy.. de warm huggs from them is wat i was missing the mostt.. :((

all de pampering, good food and soooo much of love is wat makes me smile and love this season even more...

and yes, NO ONe can evva replace your parents.. :)))))

First Campus Drive for 2012!!!!

well, so the first drive was schedulled for the 5th of December.. i had reached Pune on the 4th.. Priya joined me on the 5th.. was suppeerrr excited to kick-start the season..

could hardly sleep... ensured to reach de venue before time.... n oun reaching de venue, realised it was like a nursery school.. der were only kids around... we hardly had any students walk in.. for a drive.. i was soooooooooo disappointed..:(.. felt like i had not planned well... felt like i let my team dwn.,... :(... but i also knew deep dwn my heart i had really worked hard for this.. jst needed to pull my self up and work around de future drives.. was v nervous to c how pinni would react.. but im glad she dint say anythin. :).. had McD for lunch.. on oour way bk... Pinni swallows her foood... FASTTTT.... was fun :).. she has dis infectious lough which is indeed a smile catcher, irrespective of the feelin one has :) THank God for that :)...

the entire week was a lot of fun.. lots of learning.. lots of talking... felt soo nice to meet some familiar faces in a new place... met dis one trainer.. pinni's friend... he was kinda v cute.. but geeee.... guess he is not straight!!! NONSENSE!!!
a missin home n friends one day.. :(.. but i am aware dat i am here doin this for a reason... :))... n thank Jesus for giving me the strength and courage to carry on, with a smile.. all de time :))

Right from LOL to hear a principal adress pinni as MRS PReetham and me as MRS to watchin our company's "ARSE"etts greet us by the ECC entrace to more Hindi blunders to vada pavvs to lots of Smiles n giggles to annoying arguments to strategy planning to dinner time to lots of of FUn...

dis is indeed why campus is fun.. n makes it even more memorable if with good company :))

Life is very VERY Beautiful :)))) and even more better when filled with folks who add colors in our lives :))))))

Campus 2012 - More Fun

Well,  it's beenn ages since i have updated events in my life.

The last 6 - 8 months has indeed been a roller coster ride...  had to take a few  V V important decisions of  my life...  was  v v painful to stay away from a few ppl, who u love n adore...  :(.. however, in de long run.. i kno i HAD to do it NOW!!  but the best part is meeting new ppl...  Jesus  has really blessed me with a bunch of lovelly friends. feels great to interact and share love, joy and happiness with ppl..  it's amazing to kno dat  Life is indeed  worth living for.. :)

well, this year too.. kick-started campus hiring with great style...  we as a team, was missing our guide - Lakshmi.,...    dint have anyone to help for around 2 months... later....  we had Priya haragopal taking over Lakshmi's role. :)

Priya has been with infy for a while now.. n she is indeed a talented & fun person to work with...  i cannot thrive in boredom/monotony/politics... n i am SOOOO glad for Priya (Pinni) in de team...  wanna stop it right here, coz dis blog is not abt pinnii...  :P...

Campus hiring is like - 20-20 cricket....need oodles of energy, good plannning, and excellent execution in de limited given time..  I love challenges too....  n that's the main reason, i even agreed to tk up central hiring... like a one -man Army :)))

central hiring  - der is Notinh that i can talk abt.....  i had to work on it from Scratch....  right from understanding the geography of the place to the culture to the list of colleges...  was a LOTT of effort but was fun doin it, coz i was learning a LOT of new things :)

apart from this, finally got our PPT , My dream Campus Video, dream posters done...  was so  amazed and happpyy  when i got to see all these finallly falling in place... :).. n dat's why i secretly call my Pinni as my lucky charm.. coz i had all des ideas earlier too, however things fell in place only now :)))

post the usual budget hungama.....  we finallly started off with campus on the 5th of December!!

It sounds sooo wierd.. sammy here in Bangalore n i dont meet her...  n the main reason behind this is a LOSER - JERRY....

thought to myself why the hell sould someone else come inbetw sam n my relationship.. spoke it out to Sam, love her so so much.. i know she is my true friend n i will NOT compromise for anything...

i miss her...

Campus 2011

Well, ahem... wr do i begin from???

 I can't believe i'm writing my own blog.. Chummi - i've followed ur blogs faithfully in the past, n now m starting to write..  so cherrs - u r my inspiration :))..

Life has been good to me...  so far, so good...

I enjoy working  & i realized that i meet sooo many new ppl almost every day...  n it's very difficult to remember all the incidents - funny, crazzy, stupid.. wateva!!!!  So lemme try n writ down my experiences as a campus recruiter, my mood swings, my funny ramdom thoughts...  n 'the someone spl guy' - m also writing this down for u - to know mw better & to get used to my typical 'cancer' traits :))

Eva since Rahul Wadhawan left Infosys, there is sssooo  much confusion around... We have 2 members in our campus team - Nawaz & Beena,  2 senior ppl, both new - n both have a HUGE task in front of them. I Barely know both & it makes it even more difficult to work as both r 2 different individuals with 2 different personalities...

My first drive for the year 2011 is - Nazareth College - Chennai. The drive was scheduled for the 16th & 17th of December. Amitesh, Nawaz, Beena & I travelled for this drive. The journey was oki, went by a Volvo bus (Smiling)..  Reached Chennai at 7:AM, started the day with Tea... Got dressed & was on our way to College.. It was a long drive indeed, finally reached college. We were expecting around 800 students but we had over 1000 students registered for this event. I was a little nervous about presenting the PPT but started off in style..Rained, so we had to shift the students to diferent classrooms. GD, Lunch, GD, Announcements & then filtering students for the aptitude test.

Tension moments - 2 questions missing from the Question paper, TP team were least bothered to rectify their errors on time. Finally we worked things out and also had to manually correct each ans sheet.

The only good thing dat day was to know dat Nikku got an Award at work. It was a HUge award..  felt soo bad to not be der..:((...  Kuddus Gal - great going! & many more to come :)))

Had dinner at some shaddy place. The food costed us a bomb but they served like it was Gold..

Reached the hotel at 11 30 pm, FInally the guys got a room to stay & we girls hit the bed at half past twelve..  Was kinda wierd.. i shud not grin when ppl ask me questions..   still getting to know ppl - i shudd not come to any conclusions right away!!!!

Chennai rained.. suprisingly the weather was not tooo hot!!!!   m already lazy to write down the details...

Next day - TP team called n give stupid excuses for their blunder...  dint c any signs of regret ..  guess dat was the worst bluder by any infocion...

moving on...  things were hectic, chaotic but worth it.. we had 86 selects finally... learnt a few tips on hw to work smart from Amitesh.. met his brother.... finally got some goood food to eat ....  boarded the bus at 11 Pm..  looked like der was a Tiger sleeping beside us., A fat ugly man was SNORING all the way back... was yukkky, stupid n embrassing.. Beena n i had our Giggles... Was a good one...
